May I introduce you to another of my good friends, Yianni Daskalakis. Along with his brother, Andreas, he runs Provlita – meaning pier – in Kalyves, on the island of Crete.
Simply put, it is the best seafood restaurant I’ve ever visited. Why? Because the fish is so fresh; a sea bream winked at me from the plate.
